It’s a free all ages event at the 7 Seas Brewery in downtown Tacoma. There’s live entertainment, vintage and locally made shopping, and delicious food and drink that I can personally recommend 🙂

Join me Saturday May 30 for the TCC Art Market! It’s on the Tacoma Community College campus from 11am to 5pm.

This market is the best example of “shop local.” It will feature a unique and creative crowd of vendors from a hyperlocal art community, mixing both experienced community artists and students just starting out.

I’m returning to the Women Build Night Market! It was a great experience last year with an eclectic mix of local vendors and artists. Come visit next Friday evening at the STAR Center in Tacoma.

The event benefits Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build program. While you’re there you can learn more about trades, home repair, and home ownership.

My Tacoma Life Drawing Group is displaying selected works, including 2 of mine, that were created during life-drawing sessions. I’ve been a part of the group for years and we don’t do showings often. It’s a rare chance to see spontaneous studies of the human figure, from a variety of artists, all in one place.

We’ll have an informal opening reception this Saturday, January 24th, from 4 to 6 pm. There will be an official closing reception on March 11th, with refreshments.

The show is being held at the Pierce College Fort Steilacoom Fine Arts Gallery. The gallery is located in the Olympic Building, next to parking lot A.
